About 80 people attended a reception at the Diplomat Hotel last night, to mark the occasion of the Monaco Societe des Bains de Mer appointing Platinum International as its general sales agent. The even also featured a presentation on the Principalities of Monaco by Monaco Government Tourist and Convention Authority leisure travel assistant to the department head Jean-Jose Bertani and the properties of the Societe des Bains de Mer by Middle East sales managerCarlo Kehdy. At the event are, from left , Mike Tolan, Richard Trevithick, Lebanese Ambassador Mohammad Hajjar , Mr. Kehdy, Maya Bou Habib, Mr. Bertani, Shaikha Sabika Al Khalifa and Chris Mifsud.

Platinum International's Bahrain offices were officially opened at the Capital  Center in Manama yesterday. The firm is the first company in Bahrain to be fully sanctioned under timeshare trading rule, and will be promoting holiday accommodation in Lebanon. It has operated in Lebanon for over five years. Lebanese Ambassador Mohammed Al Hajjar opened the premises and later toured the company's showroom in the Baisan Tower Conference Center. Commerce Under-Secretary  Dr. Abdulla Mansour also witnessed the company's first sales presentation.

A new firm, Platinum, opens in Bahrain on Thursday, selling timeshares in luxury holiday homes in Lebanon.  The company held a training course for potential recruits and says it expects staff to total 25, the majority of whom will be Bahrainis.  The head office is in the Capital Centre, Manama, and its showroom s in the Baisan Tower conference centre.  Above, from left are Platinum business development director Bassam Naked, Shaikha Sabika Al Khalifa, managing director Carlo Kehdy and World Class Vacation Club Lebanon developer Viviane Boulos-Tolan.
